I had the privilege a little over a week ago to preach at my home church in N.C. My sermon was titled "The Most Important Thing About You." It was on Acts 17:16-34, where Paul was preaching to the Athenian rulers and philosophers. I filtered Paul's sermon through one of my favorite quotes by A.W. Tozer.
"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."

Here was my big idea:
The most important thing, which ought to shape and define the life of every Christian, is knowing God and making God known.
